I'm Shantha, a self-taught illustrator and surface pattern designer behind Whispers in Print.

My illustrations of whimsical characters and delicate little worlds sit somewhere between playful and graceful, made to feel lasting rather than trendy. I design for people who want their keepsakes and spaces to feel considered: cards that feel like a small, delightful gift every time you send one, wall art that makes a room feel gentler, and patterns with a little charm in every repeat.

I take on custom illustration commissions, from a single character or motif to a full illustrated scene, built from the ground up around your vision. Surface patterns in my collection can also be rescaled or recoloured to suit your space or palette.
